Brosnan, he just has that americanized british kick ass, drink a martini, and straiten your tie while running tanks through walls thing going on.

I prefer Moore, because he was more like what I imagined a typically british secret agent to be. (I'm british btw). You know, with the posh accent, sense of homour, and the way that saving the world from power crazed maniacs seemed to be a jolly jape.

Sean Connery of course.
While he didn't invent the character of Bond, he molded the character to what everyone expects out of Bond.
I liked Moore, and he wasn't bad, however IMHO he tried to add alittle flavor into the character. The problem is,
for people that expect Bond = Connery, he isn't as good.
Lazenby was bad also, however I'm still sure the only reason he got a movie was because he could ski. Would have
been better to see more of his movies.
Dalton I feel got the raw end of the Bond stick. Probably universally views as the worse out of the five. However, I
blame more the scripts for those movies, than Dalton himself. I don't think Connery could have played a good Bond in
those movies.
Brosnan isn't bad either, and can play a good Bond, but he isn't Connery. He plays a more action oriented Bond.
I don't think you'd see him do as well with Moore's films or the orginal films.

Anyone else notice that on all the movie channels (showtime, etc.) they seem to be playing a lot of bond movies lately?
Wouldn't you have to add David Niven and Peter Sellers to the list then too, technically? 😉Originally posted by: matstars
