Roger Moore

i like moore too.

edit: why are we sooo few.... connery was good, but moore makes a better british agent...

Connery was really good, and personally I think they are almost as good as each other, but Moore just edges out.

I prefer Moore, because he was more like what I imagined a typically british secret agent to be. (I'm british btw). You know, with the posh accent, sense of homour, and the way that saving the world from power crazed maniacs seemed to be a jolly jape.

Brosnan, he just has that americanized british kick ass, drink a martini, and straiten your tie while running tanks through walls thing going on.

I agree. He is my ideal Bond. BTW Roger Moore sucked donkey nutz.

Yup...

Sean Connery of course.

While he didn't invent the character of Bond, he molded the character to what everyone expects out of Bond.

I liked Moore, and he wasn't bad, however IMHO he tried to add alittle flavor into the character. The problem is,
for people that expect Bond = Connery, he isn't as good.

Lazenby was bad also, however I'm still sure the only reason he got a movie was because he could ski. Would have
been better to see more of his movies.

Dalton I feel got the raw end of the Bond stick. Probably universally views as the worse out of the five. However, I
blame more the scripts for those movies, than Dalton himself. I don't think Connery could have played a good Bond in
those movies.

Brosnan isn't bad either, and can play a good Bond, but he isn't Connery. He plays a more action oriented Bond.
I don't think you'd see him do as well with Moore's films or the orginal films.

Lazenby was good, seriously. It's too bad he decided not to make another Bond film.
Remember he had some big shoes to fill. ALso - he won the role after doing better than several actors in the fight screen test. So he was good-looking and could kick your a**.

Anyone else notice that on all the movie channels (showtime, etc.) they seem to be playing a lot of bond movies lately?

Yep.

I caught Goldfinger a couple times, best Bond move ever BTW.

These polls really ought to omit Connery as he wins by a landslide everytime.

He's my favorite too, but I've liked all the Bonds for the most part, although I'm luke warm at best on Lazenby. I actually enjoyed Moore's tongue-in-cheek style. IMO he also had some of the better films of the Bond series (Golden Gun, Live/Let Die.) Dalton didn't exactly have the greatest material to work with, although Living Daylights was a pretty solid movie IMO; he wasn't very charismatic, but good for the action. A film like Thunderball would've been better for him. Brosnan has probably been the most balanced Bond.

I can't wait to see the latest rumor on who the 'new bond' will be. There's 'official' leaks every few months on who the newest Bond will be and all have quickly faded shortly after their announcement.

I vote Connery with honorable mention it Brosnan for Goldeneye.

Whoever voted Dalton or Lazenby needs a good kick in the nuts.

They shouldnt even be in the polls.
