In your opinion who was or is the best Batman of em all? Also please post why you thought that actor was the best batman.

I chose keaton...he just naturally played the part so well being batman and wanye....back when they announced keaton as batman i thought they were smoking crack...but so far he is best IMO

i chose keaton, good combination of actor and script. i wasn't so down on kilmer or clooney either, just thought the scripts and movies themselves were poorly done.

i would like to see either of those in a well done batman.

You're crazy. Bale topped the role off *perfectly*, and Nolan's direction is second to none.

Batman Begins is da bomb :) I'll say that Keaton was a strong SECOND, but Bale really took the role and made it his own.

I think Bale did the best job as batman....but Keaton did the best job as Bruce Wayne.

Bale just didn't seem to pull off the "Wayne" aspect of the role well for me.

Definitely not Clooney. His performance was lazy, hammy, and pointless.

Keaton really surprised me too, he did a very good job being Bruce Wayne.

Kilmer also was good, his speech to Dick Grayson on where killing the criminals would lead him was one of the high points of the movies. He was also more believable physically than Keaton.

Adam West for the fun cheese factor. He also made a good mayor in Family Guy :)

I haven't seen Bale as Batman yet.

Keaton by far. The original is usually the best, although Bale did a good job. Just like in the Bond movies, Sean Connery was the best as the original. Although, Brosnan did a good job as Bond as well.

I vote for Bale. That movie was awesome, and I really felt him in the roll. Holmes on the other hand sucked.

What did you expect, Holmes was not exactly a very important character in the plot of the movie...

Totally and completely wrong.

Batman is the man, Wayne is the mask. Bale hit the nail on the head.

I think you old geezers are caught up on the nostalgia, cast of famous actors, and cheezy humor, so you chose Keaton.

See, two can play that game.

Then they would have picked Clooney. That was by far the most CGI driven of the movies.

Yep. I don't see how anyone can deny that this was the deepest, darkest and most socially relevant Batman.

Batman is SUPPOSED to be the Dark Knight. And this is the only movie which really portrays that fact well.
