I just realized that Star Trek: TNG started in the 1980's. Q could easily vaporize all of these other "bad guys" with a flick of his finger, so I'm going to change my vote and make him my #1 bad guy from that decade!

True... but it continued til 83

Well no, if you're going to go by that argument then technically it's still ongoing with the most current Star Wars: The Clone Wars released this year. Which is why he should be disqualified because it should go by the year of introduction making him a bad guy of the 70's.

Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi were both 80s movies. A New Hope didn't have that name until it was re-released in '81. Vader was an 80s bad guy.

I was gonna vote Zabka because of his appearance a douchebag in Karate Kid, Back to School, and his best of the douchebag bunch in Just One of the Guys .... but Chet so totally wins. Not only was he the biggest asshole, but he was that to his little brother well beyond what any big bro should be.

Terminator.

He was a good guy, dude.

And I think the real bad guy from the 80's was Jason of Friday the 13th. No question.

Have you ever seen Terminator?
