Who wants to explain this FSB issue?

Got a Soyo Dragon Plus with an AMD 1700xp processor. It shows my FSB at 133. What's all this talk about them doing 266 FSB if it isn't going to happen? Am I supposed to tweak the hell out of my system through the FSB frequency step in the bios to reach 266?

I'm running Win2K pro
512MB Mushkin DDR memory
ATI 7000 32MB DDR card

you didint really think your fsb was going to be set at 266, did ya???

you have a ddr (double data rate) theoretically its 266 (133x2)

Well...I did put a machine together for a friend. The board claimed to run at 200 FSB w/appropriate processor and memory. That's what I saw in the bios when we checked it out. I figured I would see 266MHz with the Soyo. Sh_t happens, right?

if your running at 133fsb you will see 266 on the startup screen
