Who wants to buy a Jet fighter?

WHAT A HOT DEAL!!!!! 😛

Yes, this IS a warplane. The L39 is designated a trainer/light attack aircraft. It was the same plane featured in the rather odd opening sequence of 007: Tomorrow Never Dies. It has a GSh-23 23mm twin-barrelled cannon in addition to heavy hardpoints that can hold ordinance. Wouldn't surprise me if the gun is missing, though. If this were an L39V THAT would be a hot deal - only 8 were built. 🙂

If you've got cash coming out the nose and other orifices - HERE'S where to go:

Buy/Lease an F/A-18, F-8, or Cobra Gunship, etc.

geez, if u want to fly a jet fighter, join the airforce, not only is it free, they PAY U to do it!

[furthermore, even if u win this nice fast plane, i doubt the FAA would let u fly it, they'd scramble their own jets and shoot u down should u show up on their radar in the wrong airspace]

There is nothing illegal about owning a warplane. Several "super rich" people own their own MiGs, F-4s, and even a few own top drawer aircraft like F-16s and F/A-18s. They must be equipped with a civilian transponder, SPECIALLY certified by the FAA, and NEVER armed. Every piece of fixed armament - inboard guns, etc. - need to be removed or demilled.

Chalk up the fact that there are speed restrictions over US territory for civilian aircraft and it kinda takes the fun out of it. 🙂

if you have that much money I'm sure you can get a nice spot in some big 3rd world country and get them to let you re-arm that biznitch and fly at whatever the hell speed you want.

Hehehehe.....get a MiG and start blasting in your own little test field, until you're good enough to shoot things down from 2 miles above with pinpoint accuracy...of course at this point the "men in black" might get annoyed and that would not be fun lol...

This is a very common thing, by the way. You can get some training fighter jets for well under $100K.

It's surprising how easy and cheap it can be to buy these.

A little scarry....
