Lab is the best breed out there if you ask me. Just the right balance between looks and intelligence. I've been wanting to get one for almost a year now, but still not sure. Maybe next year. Definitely a black one, and definitely from a good breeder.

Hehehe He sure does (he's a purebred toy poodle, btw; I just hate the "poodle look"). He bites em, and eventually rips 'em apart, and I have to periodically clean up balls of cotton stuffing...

Edit: Our neighbor has a golden retriever/cocker spaniel mix puppy who's adorable, and I'll post pics of the two of them playing when I can get the digital camera out there again.

Yeah, that's what I hate most about apartment living. Even if you are allowed to have pets, you are often limited by what breed you should get for an apartment.


I have a Daschund and Poodle back home, but don't have any pics handy. Unfortunately the Daschund suffers from occasional seizures. I think I'll buy/adopt mixed dogs when I eventually get them. So much less to worry about as far as health is concerned.
