On a more serious note; I'm glad it is raining. Fire season is going to be bad enough this year, every little bit helps.

Exactly. I basically had a Sophie's Choice moment last night, when I had to chose which car to garage and which to leave on the driveway. The other garage spot is taken up by a UTV, which although can handle getting wet overnight, could be stolen relatively easy.

Persevere is all we can do down here. I appreciate all the positive vibes.

That's gold, Jerry! Gold! 😀

I'm planning to go swim some laps at lunch time today. I fear I might get wet while walking from the locker room to the pool! Someone hold me. I'm scared. :'(

HAVE SOME FUCKIN' SYMPATHY. 😡

We are dealing with a slight amount of moisture falling from the sky. Some of us have gotten wet. My mountain bike got a little muddy while riding. This is real suffering and we don't need your shit attitude. :colbert:

+1

I was driving home from Big Bear yesterday right after it snowed half an inch. Before I crossed the bridge over the lake on the 18, I saw two cars plowed into something along the side of the road. I hadn't put my chains on yet and I didn't actually have much trouble with the road since I was going pretty slow, but seeing how horrible everyone else was driving I figured I'd spend the 10 minutes putting them on.

The timing of the rain wasn't great since it seemed to happen right before the commute, but I am thankful we got a little rain. Honestly, I wouldn't mind if we got rain every day for the next few weeks, but that's not going to happen.

Here is what they say when we don't get enough rain.

Its so dry all the plants are too dry we are going to have a really bad fire season.

If we get too much rain.

It rained so much, all the plants grew way too much, we are going to have a really bad fire season.

It's been raining for 3 days straight up here.

I'm keeping one chambered just in case FEMA can't get to me in time.
