Texas is a very big place...

It should be localized, like DFW netmeet, or H-Town, or Austin.

Even D/FW and San Antonio is 3 hours away, and Austin is only one. Houston on the other hand, is about 5 hours from our centralized meeting location 😉

Sides, its hypothetically speaking. 😉

Well College Station is right in the middle of all three. About 1.5 hrs from Houston and Autsin, 2.5 hrs from Dallas and San Antonio

I think i've been to college station...once. Isn't it a little small town or like 150,000+ respectable place with lots of fun stuff 😛

Well Texas A&M is in CS.. (where i attend), and I know they have LAN parties all the time there but they do charge I think but they have VERY good connections to the internet for those that want to play online only games.

College Station by itself is only 75k but bryan which is right next door is another 75k so its essentially 150k.

I know lots of people that will smack you and tell you "WTF you been smoking!??!!" but Austin seems like a good choice for a netmeet.

I'm not driving half way across texas for a lan party... there better be some sort of AT meet with beer and go karts and women... or some wild combination of them all together! 😀
