The apps I use on a daily basis are Torque, Facebook, Poweramp, my Banking apps (WF, USAA, Cap1), basic/included Telecoms apps (phone, contacts, messaging) and Gmail.

Less frequently used apps are ES File Explorer, Browser, Geico, Fitocracy, Mint.com, myAT&T, Calculator, Clock and Shazam.

I have 9 games installed, 4 of which are 3D games, and by 3D I mean they use the GPU.

I don't use my phone as much anymore.

Gmail, tapatalk, torque and camera is about 90% of what I do. The other 10% is mainly talk/text. I check my banking stuff as well.

I don't play those silly games anymore.

I have a Windows Phone 8. I don't find I miss having apps at all. The only app I really use is Baconit (which is arguably the best Reddit app out there). I also use a gym/workout app sometimes... And I play games occasionally. I don't need Facebook or anything like that because it's all in WP8, my contacts is my facebook friends list, my profile gives me my FB updates, and my messaging app works seamlessly between texting and FB messaging. I find most apps to be gimmicky and buggy, and I don't really like doing anything serious on a tiny phone screen.

I live in NYC and so had never heard of this before... holy crap is it cool.

Torque is amazing. The most recent update added the ability to read my truck's transmission temp sensor. That's gonna be extremely helpful when I tow something.
