Come on! A trained monkey with a bad attitude couldn't screw up an oil change. Nonetheless, stay away from all other auto services.

I wouldn't let any of the WalMart TLE retards adjust my seat, let alone touch anything under the hood.

LOL!

Are you serious? Over $1.50? :p

I mean, I agree that the policy is stupid.. But it isn't worth making a big deal about.

Next time save 4$ and change the oil yourself if you're that worried about 1.50.

If it makes you feel better, you paid for my filter. I went and had an oil changed (mobil 1 synth) the other day, and brought my own filter. They managed to give me a credit then proceeded to do the oil change and use their filter. (A crappy fram though, so, definitely not going over 3K miles on this change). At least I Got paid to use that filter.

Stop shopping at walmart.

Word, how 'bout spening an extra $5 and go with a local business. Then the money will actually go towards your local economy instead of a Walton.

Isn't a local walmart a part of the local economy?

I do the same thing. I always get mobil 1 and bring my own Mobil filter. When my car rolls in, I stand out there at the fence and watch everything. Haven't had a problem yet after 2 cars over a 4 year span.

The charge is bogus nonetheless. Go into the store and see the manager.

How so?

An oil change does not require any special parts or skills. Yes, even a WallyMonkey can be taught to do it.

Haha, they won't be fired!

I too unfortunately work there. You could do what has been suggested and if that doesn't get you anywhere, call 1-800-Walmart and they will fix the problem.

Fired over $1.50? LOL

Dude there are cashiers at my store who can't even fvcking see and they still work there. I kid you not, there is one cashier who always forgets her glasses, so she gets a pair of reading glasses off the shelf and wears them while she works, then puts them back when it is time to leave. They won't even have anything said to them, don't kid yourself.
