My Mom taught me how to drive. Started off in a mall parking lot that was empty and went from there. 30 minutes of road time and it was time for the turnpike. I was never so scared in my life. It's funny to look back and thing that 65, or the right lane for that matter, was scary!

edit. Also, where I grew up I got a Learner's Permit at 14 and my license at 16.

My dad. But I did take driver's ed after that. I already knew how to drive and had been doing so for several months; driver's ed wasn't required in Nebraska, but I think we got a lower rate on insurance if I took the class.
