I took Driver's Ed, which included a Behind the Wheel section that started after I got my temps. I drove with both of my parents after I got my temps for practice, though.

My dad let me drive a bit around the block before I got my temps, too. And he tried to teach me to drive manual, but that didn't happen.

A long time ago my dad taught me how to drive, we had a 1985 Mercedes 200 4 cylinders 4-speed MANUAL, so it wasn't only about the driving and the laws and such but he wanted me to know how to properly drive a manual car, and I thank him for doing that , because ever since all the 3 cars I have owned till now were manual and I wouldn't buy anything else.
