there's this dude who sits in the corner cubicle always with headphones on. You know, long hair, living in his mom's basement, overweight nerdy type. I need to attend a required training course so I approached him to ask him to send me that email. That's really his job, pretty much administrative work in support of the team. He asks me why I need it and I thought it was a stupid self-explanatory question so I answered "just email me it". I don't want to be stuck near his dirty WoW obsessed geek cubicle any longer than I have to. I don't report to him. He does bitch work and at the bottom of the food chain.

What a piece of shit. Just send me the email so I don't have to argue with you. How hard is it to point a cursor on the monitor and click with his fat fingers? I mean he does that at least over 100 times on any given day. He still hasn't sent the link :|
 
My 2nd job has a guy like that and though I felt the same as you what I did was touch base with him socially and complimented his cubicle (though it was a disaster) and talked about hardware a bit - I got what I needed (a report in my case), and was invited to a hardcore nerd-only convention of sorts (not that I would attend it).
 
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that parody threads are never funny. Ever. Not once in history has a parody thread been funny. For proof, I offer this thread, and every other parody thread on ATOT. If someone can point out a funny parody thread, I'll gladly rescind my claim.

Until then, stop making parody threads; they aren't funny.

Wow, I can't imagine why he doesn't jump to help you out.

Edit: usually I can pick up on parodies. This must be a particularly weak one.
