Who the heck is Cpt Troy A. Cain?

I set myself up a new throwaway email address (the one I use here). I did a search, and to my amazment, the username 'email' was available. I set it up, and soon found out why.

For some reason, Qmail keeps dumping messages into my inbox. Cpt Troy A. Cain sends me at least one message a day. I checked the headers, and my email address is not listed at all. I've gotten a few from other people, too (prayer meeting invitations, wedding announcements, occasional spam, you name it). The only thing I've noticed is when someone sends an email from one of the domains we own (that uses the qmail server) and has an addressbook entry without an email associated with it, I get the message. Weird.

Anyone know enough about Qmail to know why it's happening?

I thought about changing the username, but the stuff I've been receiving is quite entertaining I'd post the best one here, but it would be nuked in a second

Funny thing is he doesn't seem to be paying all that much attention to what's going on down there. Personally, at that point in time, the ballgame would take a distant second place.

Yo_Ma-Ma, it's a real address, from a real person. I just wish I could figure out why the emails are being dumped into my box. I've checked out the headers, and my addy isn't listed in the 'to' field in any of them.

I've rec'd emails like that, where I can't tell why I'm getting them & just assumed I'm included in the BCC, I don't think that would show in the header, or would it?

BCC just means you won't see who the other recipients are. Your address should still show in the header.
