People pay $400 to pirate?
This "newzgroops are my life" shit is ridiculous.
And trying to bribe people into reporting other people?
Really fucking lame.

I don't think i have ever reported anyone for anything. I wonder who uses that little button the most?

Probably the guy trading reporting posts for an invite.
I've had quite a few worthless "points" for calling him out, calling him names, among other things.

I only report the overnight russian spammers and stuff like that, I can handle a little name calling and don't go running to mommy like that little bitch does.

Hahah it would be great if they changed his forum title to "Lil' Bitch"

Good deal on access in case anyone is interested. I snagged a few of the block accounts at a 50% discount. Great for fills...

That is some good deals, but remember that Newsdemon is Highwinds, so if you are already on on of the many servers that is on the Highwinds back end then it probably is not that great for fills.
You can check This List to see who your back end provider is.

Usenet is dead now with the DCMA takedowns and indexers closing. Bit Torrent is much faster and have great reliability with releases. It's free vs Usenet which you have to pay for. And before you start talking out your ass, I am talking about private invite only torrent sites and not public sites like TPB, KAT, etc

Although KAT is awesome, best replacement for Demonoid.

Not to mention they take down everything that has a DMCA complaint on it

I disagree these is plenty of replacement indexers and providers with much slower DMCA.

I was certainly overstating it a bit when I said it was dead. But it is dying and anyone who doesn't see that is just living in the glory years of Usenet. Even with providers much slower to pull material due to DMCA requests are still doing it eventually making a lot of older material much more difficult to find. Why you would pay a service for that pleasure is beyond me, but to each their own

Once ISPs start sending out warning messages to people using torrents, they will flock back to usenet.
