Who still hasn't received their w-2's?

I have to wait until Feb 11th to file due to the Hope Credit.

I have had my W2 since Jan 21st, and the rest of my W2 stuff since about the 25th of Jan. I just have to wait 10 more days until I can file, but I will get everything done sunday and just e-file before I head to work monday morning.

They had till midnight last night to have them postmarked so it may take a few days if the company waits until the last minute to send them out.

For all those that have been waiting - you have the option of looking at your last paystub recieved in 2007 and using that to get a good estimate of where you stand.

I don't think I got mine yet... but I don't read my mail. I just pick it up and throw it on my couch .

Looks like I need to print off some thing from my student loans too... might do that today so I can do my taxes ASAP... I like getting my monies back.

I've had mine for almost two weeks. However I had to wait until yesterday until I could get a copy of my student loan interest form. Going to e-file Thursday.

I'm waiting on a mortgage form for my Disney vacation Club--the 1098 or whatever it is. I have everything else ready to go. I actually did my taxes yesterday w/o the form to get a ballpark. Adding in those deductions can only increase my refund, i guess, so I have a good idea where I stand, Once I get those numbers, I'll plug them in and efile.

IIRC, companies can have until the end of Feb. to mail out W2s.

I haven't gotten back mine from the contractor company I worked for for half a year last year. They also still haven't sent me any update on two missing checks. Looks like I will have to have a letter from a lwyer sent to them.


BTW, what is the last day for them to mail - end of January or end of February?

W2's have to be postmarked by Jan 31st, 1099's etc can be mailed out anytime before Feb 28th (or 29th this year?)
