Just by looks if I have to vote i have to say davis.. he is much better looking than simon..

But then I am not gay so dont get any wrong ideas.

Make a poll and see what comes up.

Politics in 21st Century America . . . Jesus H. Christ.

It's disgusting to think that when we're presented with the opportunity to establish a government of, for, and by the people, we instead elect the lowest of our society . . . just because they look good on TV and can deal a line of BS. :disgust:

Gray needs to go, period! I don't like Simon, but consider him the lesser of two evils. "No Gray in 2003!"

Edit your thread and check the box that says "create poll" (or something like that).

It will ask for a description, then the question, then it asks you to add your response choices (if my memory serves right)

I feel for you californians on this one, they are both crooks, although only one has been convicted.

But definitely DAVIS.

Um...how do I edit the thread? by clicking on Edit at the bottom of the original post? Because is I do that, then I don't see the option to create a poll on the next thread

I get the impression that Davis really fvcked things for california so no way in hell he gets another chance.
Those ads, taking credit for the new power plants built here, this just low.
But the Anti Simmon ads on television with the Enron, Worldcom, Tyco, etc scandals going on
really tells me this isn't a good time to put somebody like Simmon in office.

It's a tough one, couldn't we give the office to Al Gore as a consolation prize for losing the last
election?

jk

Seriously , somebody save us here in California, I don't want to vote of either one. Could be a good time to
elect Hollywood Hogan to office.

davis by a mile and thats not saying much. simon just sucks that much more. as was said b4, the 78 million, the guys dirty. the republicans had a chance to choose the moderate republican which many of us wouldn't mind having over davis.. but guess what they did. they chose the fanatical conservative instead.

Could this be the time, that just anybody, could win the election, just by getting on the ballot, just to avoid having either of those fvckups in office....so we can stop taking it in the orfice? :Q

Stojakapimp ... are you going to vote for the person who gets the most votes in your poll?
That bring up an interesting question of how people decide who gets their vote, the person who they believe will do a good job and share your ideas about the country or state's direction or the person who is going to win.

My opinion because nobody asked for it is that one should vote for the person who they feel will do a good job leading the state or nation for the next 4 years. The person who you share or agree with on the majority of the issues. I don't want to have a beer or with Davis or Simon, I just want someone who will work to keep the economy strong, stay out my personal life with more laws, and basically lead the state and fund programs that I believe are priorities like education and health care and transportation.

As a partisan democrat, it will hurt Bush's chances of being competitive in California in 2004 with a strong Davis win because a Republican in the governor's mansion can help Bush have a toehold in this increasingly Democrat state.

Having said that, however, Simon is looking like a sinking ship and Davis with all his faults should win going away ....
57% to 42% and 1% to the Greens (as a protest). It also looks like a Democrat sweep of all statwide offices.

no, i will not vote for whever gets the most votes in my poll.
Most likely I will vote for Bill Simon. I'm not really clear on all of their stances so far, but i'll read up on them when voting time comes around. I'm fairly Republican so I'll probably vote that way. Plus my dad is a lobbyist in Sacramento and is very against Gray Davis...and I would most likely take my dads advice not only because he is my dad and has passed on his political views to me but also because he works first hand with the politics of California and knows it much better than I do
