So...did they just pick the Democrats who did serve and the Republicans who didn't? Odd that they would put Jeb Bush a gov and not Colin Powell Secretary of State.

They also forgot Sam Johnson, GOP Rep. from Texas (3rd District). Of course, he only served 29 years, flying combat missions in both Korea and Vietnam, and was a 'guest' of North Vietnam for ~7 years, so he's no real war hero like John Kerry.

The big difference is that "liberals" don't dishonor the contributions of those that serve nor try to bring down their accomplishments (e.g. McCain and Kerry). This website is lame, so let's just leave it at that.

Not to mention this site, where the leftie cut-n'-paste crew was happy to share the there-is-no-evidence-of-liberal-media-bias piece du jour.

You must have slept through the '92 and '96 elections then.

I think we can all agree is that little list is incomplete and we need to honor those that served for this country, no matter if they're Congresmen, Presidents, journalists or even the local butcher.

Absolutely! that list is intentionally slanted. Look at the Senators of the 108th congress for example. 16 Democrats served, 18 Republicans served, and 1 independent served. Looks like a pretty even split to me. It is silly to try and make the case that people of one party or another are more likely to have served their country.

Oh Darkhawk don't forget congresswomen. There is at least one I know of Congresswoman Heather Wilson, R-NM United States Air Force 1978-1989
