My 386 DX-40 (AMD, baby!) had 8 RAM slots. I had 4x256 Kb, then 4x1 Mb, then 8 x 1 Mb. Then Best Buy had the 100 MB IBM-branded HD onsale for $99. That computer was rocking! I had fun with SLS Linux and later Slackware on it. Good times... I still have the CPU somewhere and, as it was the first CPU/computer I ever brought, I am thinking of making it into a keychain.
