Awesome! I love how the snow monster eats you in a ridiculously quick manner.

I remember playing this not on Win 3.1, but on OS/2 on an IBM PS Value Point. The first computer we owned that could actually display a photograph!

nevermind, i found a Best of Microsoft Entertainment Pack that has Tetris, Golf, Taipei, Pipe Dream, FreeCell, Tut's Tomb, Rodent's Revenge, Tri-Peaks, Ski Free,
Chip's Challenge, Jezzball, Dr. Black Jack, and Tetravex.

are these freeware now?
 
Funny read. I remember going through 100's of lines of Fortran code to get a Star Trek game running on a Vax 11/780. Just like the Vax version of this game it was all ASCII text and VT100 commands.
 
Man, I still get chills playing that game. In fact, it's the ONLY game I've played that gives me chills when I play it b/c I can never get past the snow monster
