Anyone else do this procedure in public restrooms?

1. Do your business
2. Get your paper towel ready (push the lever a few times)
3. Wash hands
4. Rip off towel
5. Wipe Hands
6. Turn off water w/ towel
7. Open door w/ towel
8. Hold door open w/ foot and throw away towel

It sounds weird but it goes pretty smoothly.

Depends. If it's a number 2 I will to get rid of any lingering odour. If it's a number 1 I will very quickly rinse, at best. Urine is sterile, so once it's off my hands and I know I don't have pee-hands, anything else is just a waste of time. soaping up and all that nonsense after going to the urinal is a waste of time.

Yep. When possible. Funny thing, I really started after the last poll a year or so ago where 50% of folks here said they don't wash. Before that I only considered that necessary if the restroom was dirty... now I know even clean restrooms are visited by unsanitary folk.

On the other hand, if I have to touch a door handle I don't care. I figure with all those unsanitary folks, I've probably touched OTHER things they have as well. :Q

Divorce papers coming in 3... 2... 1...

Always. You do know what the guy had in his hand prior to puching the handle to flush the toilet don't you?

Yep. Thats exactly what I do as well. Unless I some how manage to pee on my hands, I pretty much just splash them with water. Number 2 calls for a full blown soap washing.

I admit that there are times where the bathroom is so nasty that i would rather gamble with might or might not be on my hands as opposed to the scary stuff on the sink/faucet/paper towel/etc.

Always. I didn't used to care if I was in a hurry, but it digusting to see people just grab the door handle on the way out of the bathroom without washing. Even worse is when they walk out of the bathroom at a restraunt and go back to eating their burger or grab mints out of a bowl. All I can think is, "thanks for sharing that with everyone."

I wash my hands after I touch almost anything that other people might touch (doorknobs, etc.). My wife nearly died from something that the doctor said might have come from a doorknob. We are both paranoid/obsessed with cleanliness now.
