when on a date with a guy, I usually base it on who ask who out.

if I asked him out, I expect and will want to pay for everything. if he asked me out, I'll offer to pay and expect him to decline my offer, but it's not really a big deal.

1/2 and 1/2. I have no desire to support a perfect stranger. As for some people who say that it depends on who asks who out, this isn't prostitution. If I ask someone out, its silly to say that I'm obligated to pay for their time. If they aren't just as interested in spending time with me as I am with them, then there's no reason to ask them out.

In the perfect world, everyone will pay for his/her share of the meal. I usually pay because I don't mind and if I enjoy the company.

I used to date a "DINER WHORE" and after 2 dates, I told her to hit the road because I didn't really care to be her free meal ticket.

husband/wife here... I usually pay for everything but sometimes she'll insist. Fine by me.
