outer space, including the moon and other celestial bodies, is not subject to national appropriation by claim of sovereignty, by means of use or occupation, or by any other means.

Who decided that our leaders have the right to make this treaty. If I make a ship and get to Mars or some other planet its mine and they have no control over it.

Unless you're a nation, I don't see how that treaty affects you directly.

It makes sense too. Imagine if we find oil on the Moon for example. Should we prohibit its exploitation for the entire human race by law?
Hahhaahah. Ahhh, I'll bookmark that link for later when I need a good laugh.

haha i love Eddie Izzard

We stole countries with the cunning use of flags. Just sail around the world and stick a flag in.
"I claim India for Britain!"

And they're going, "You can't claim us, we live here! Five hundred million of us!"

"Do you have a flag? ? No flag, no country!"
