I was born in HongKong, went to the States for High School in Freshman year, moved down to LA for college, this is my third year here in LA, and I don't think Madonna's version of Papa Don't Preach came out within this 5 years. I did listen to her Ray of Light album and I like Frozen in particular and the music video of Beautiful Stranger.

and if you want to do more investigative work on my personal history, I didn't watch MTV in HongKong when I was a kid, because there weren't MTV or much American programs aired in HK; there were Simpsons and then Xfiles and I do know who Michael Jackson and MC Hammer is.

im pretty sure u knew who originally sang " papa dont preach" before you posted ur message..... i guess u r starved of attention or something...i might be wrong....why else would you ask "who originally sang Kelly Osbourne's Papa Don't Preach?" why cant it be possible kelly osbourne sang the original....and it is very unlikely that you wouldnt have heard the name of the original artist when you came to know that Kelly Osbourne did a cover of "papa dont preach" . i think every news peice that mentioned this event mentioned the song being originally done by madonna too. dont take any offense. just trying to understand the psyche of guys like you.

Whoa! There are a lot of assumptions there!

Ha, yeah I thought it was Dylan! ;)

I thought the whole Osbourne thing was kinda cool, but now it's just just waaaaayyyy too much! I know there is going to be a 2nd season of that show, and I am predicting it'll become really dumb because of all the hype. Those two kids will know that they are 'stars' now, and I predict will act even more obnoxiosly the second time around...

naturally I would take it offensively, but since a few ppl here feel like determining who I really am and what my life should be, I am inclined to reply with manner as they want me to.

I sometimes make certain assumption based on tiny trivial facts and mostly on intuition/gut feeling too, so I understand your feeling; yet I am not the hypocrit you expect.

no, I do not know who the original singer is, but my friend told me Kelly Osbourne is not the Original singer for that song and I want to know so that I can tell him that.
I usually watch MTV, but World Cup has occupied most of my time, so I haven't been updated on the entertainment industry. (yet I do know Britney Spears will be starred in a Nascar movie, courtesy of ESPN)

on a less objective argument, if I carve attention I would probably be a Junior Memeber (sorry, no offense to all you J M here, I am just making assumption too, just like Ramsnake and Ameesh) and brag about how I archieve my 1000 post counts landmark.

on the other hand, yes I should have used goggle, but I feel like being human today and chat with real life ppl on a message board; for those who felt bothered by my laziness, they will not reply and grin, and for the ppl who feel like talking will participate and throw in their 2 cents, it's a win-win situation.
