Who needs Photoshop when you have MS Paint?

Photoshop is mostly used to re-touch existing work anyways. Look what a real artist uses - any program with a palette, canvas and brushes will work.

I usually use MSPAINT to illustrate things when I'm being ironic, usually when blogging. I'd post some of these with a context, but I'd only get 'blog.anandtech.com' replies here. Meh.

Real men paint in ascii.

ed zachary. its not the tool, its the adeptness of the artist.

so uh.... everyone realizes all that's needed for that kind of stuff is a drawing touch pad. A program only needs the basic artists tools, it's all on the artist to do the drawing and shading, programs don't really change that one bit, in fact... if they are using more tools in photoshop, I'd say they have less artistic ability.
Unless, it's something like vector art, which just makes it more cool. 🙂 Though lacking true shading.

Both mine, and the OPs link are using mouse and Paint only. I'm not particularly artistic, so I'm impressed :^)
