Well, I am learning and thanks for your tips . . .

What about espresso? - isn't superheated steam used to extract the coffee?. . . and the results are extra mild but with lots of caffeine.

Anyway, I will keep experimenting - today, I got my best cup in years. :)

Here's what I do.

Take 6 tablespoons of coffee
run 1.5 coffee cups of water through it
take filter out, rerun coffee through grounds three times.
stir in new fresh grounds.

I can't stand the bland coffee here in Indiana.
