who makes the best slotket?

I've read a lot of good reviews on the Asus. Personally, if one was made by my mobo manufacturer, I would use that one.

I wouldn't worry about getting one made by your mobo manufacturer. High quality components are high quality regardless of if they're made by the same people as made the motherboard. I've used both an Abit, an Asus, and an MSI, all in an Abit board. I personally like the MSI the best. It offers mutliplier and voltage tweaks just the like the others, it offers very good stability (which the MSI and ASUS did. Abit was a tad on the unstable side), and it sits on the slot a bit more securely than the Asus did for me.

I've used the Iwill, MSI, and some generics. I've never had a problem with any of them. For overclocking stability, go with one of the name brand ones.

Don't know about lately, but I've had a hard time finding MSIs--for less than about $30 shipped. Ah, for the old days...(Onvia, etc)

I'm sure if they go unavailable on Pricewatch people will be able to find them in the FS/T forums for quite a while afterwards. I've sold/traded 2 of them there in the last month and half.

Thanks all. I can get the MSI for 13 CND. I think that's a good deal eh? Or I can get the Asus for 23. I'll get whichever one they got. Sweet.. anyone got a celeron 600 they want to sell me?
