Who makes the best pocket knives?

I prefer swiss army knives. They're good because they cost under $20 and have some good multi-function uses...plus, they're small enough to carry all the time.

Check Amazon.com if you want a good price. I was able to pick up a second one back before Xmas for $12.99.

More expensive than in December, but Link.

Victronix are always nice. I've had a few that lasted for years and years. Not the cheapest and they're stamped (not forged), though I don't know how much it'd matter to you.

anybody here wanna chime in?

No, S&W uses shitty steel IIRC.

Gerber, Buck, Benchmade, and Cold Steel are a couple good ones.

I picked up this a couple of weeks ago and like it quite a bit.

I believe that schrade knives are made pretty well.

Oh gerber knives are also great i hear.

edit: added line about gerber knives.

Under $20 really won't get you much.

$50-100 makes a nice carry knife, decent quality but you won't hate yourself if you lose it.

Benchmade is my choice in that price range, but my daily carry is a Chris Reeve Sebenza...
