I am looking for a little upgrade to my system. I can't afford much over $100.
I was looking at the NewEgg 8500LE OEM, but I have read semi-bad things about the card
being seriously underclocked and another brand like Gigabyte might be better.
I have read the current three best OEM brands are Gigabyte, FIC and Powercolor.
Do you agree? In what order and where to get one for a decent price?
I have been reading about an ATI price drop for weeks, but haven't seen anything.
Does anyone have a heads up if this is real or not and if so when?

I currently have a Geforce 2 GTS so this should be a decent upgrade.
I want a Ti 4200, but I don't have the money, plus I am not a huge gamer anyway.

Edit: I was just reading that the NewEgg BULK(not list as OEM) 8500LE may be a good choice for $98 shipped.
apparently it's clocked at 250/275 and built by ATI. It can't do dual head, but I don't care.

Thanks,
Mark

Obviously ATI makes the best 8500LE card out there...along with the best reference drivers.

ATi Makes the best of all there cards. And that NewEgg deal sounds great just for you. I'd go with that.
