As someone mentioned earlier, Danner does make some good boots. I've had a pair of danner heavy duty hiking boots for 20 years now. Resoled them twice and they are great.
Ecco also makes some very comfortable high quality hiking boots. Expensive though.

not sure on Helly Hansen hiking boots, but the winter boots I have are very comfortable, well constructed and have been used for multi mile hikes in the snow with no issues.

That is a really good looking pair of boots, and they look very well-built. But ouch, the price.


They are expensive, but they hold up really well (really good materials/construction). If you are going to hike a lot, might be worth the costs. I have never regretted purchasing them.

i will choose Danner hiking boots over Ecco for better leather quality.
