Who makes 7" round speakers for a '99 Civic?

Crutchfield says 6.5"... Hmm.

 

Crotchfield also has brackets that will fit 5 1/4's as well. 6.5 components sound killer though, more mids....

ahh, they might be 7", but no one makes a 7" speaker
if you buy from crutchfield they would include a spacer to make a 6.5" fit (if it's really needed)

I read 7" on some sites for my '02 Accord as well. Replaced it perfectly with a 6 1/2".

Maybe they're measuring the overall diameter (including the mounting flange).

the size is a 6.5" S the S means its slightly oversized been doing car audio professionally for over 8 yrs now. most 6.5's these days are S compatible they have extra mounting ears on the outside rim. so look for an 6.5" S compatible speaker when you go shopping..
