I eat at those places once in a while...

Is this possibly news to anyone? I doubt it...

And this is not just fast food... This stuff happens everywhere that you can not see the food prepared...

Im sure that happens in some places, but my real question is how often does it happen? Is this an isolated case or a brief example of a shady underworld?

<< I thought it'd be funny and it was a cool thing to do at the time," he said.

"Were you laughing when you did this?" Musson was asked by Monroe County Assistant District Attorney Jim Wolford.

"Yes, sir," Musson replied.

"Was the defendant?"

"Yes, sir."

"Did he say anything to you?"

"Just -- 'They're going to get a good one,' or 'You've got a good one,' or 'They're going to like this one,' " Musson said.

After eating at fast food restaurants for many many years, I'm pretty positive that I've gotten a "special order" before...I better not think about it...

I normally eat in "A" certified restaruants.. in LA county they have ratings.. and I prefer the "A"'s to the other ones.

Plus my fav place, Tommies Burgers doesnt have this problem.. I can see them make it right in front of my eyes.

I just make sure I just order a normal burger or anything. Custom = death from kitchen staff, plus double death from the hungry guy behind you in line if you had to have your whopper with:

"no lettuce, no pickels, extra cheese, no mayo, extra onions, no ketchep, extra mustard, and put it on a kaiser roll.."

These people, next to check writers at the super market (its called cash or credit!) bug me.,

Did you hear the one a while back about the whole chicken head (bill and all) that made it into a chicken nugget! At McDonalds.

This happens everywhere, not only in fast food places... I remember seeing something on Dateline or something, and a chief said they do that in normal restaurants too... The chief said sending back an order to the kitchen for whatever reason (maybe u wanted fries instead of salad, reasons like that) is very insulting to the chief, and the dish sometimes come back out with something extra inside.

From then on, I never send anything back in a restaurant...

And I am willing to bet these kind of things happen even more in pizza places than in fast food restaurants...

yum. A hardees restaurant in my town has this kinda urban legend attached to it that the employees play hockey with the frozen burger patties.

even though MacDonalds had the fried chicken head incident, I think MacDonalds doesn't let that kind of crap happen and is by far the cleanest and safest place to eat of the major fast food places.

This is one guy convicted in one Burger King in one city in the entire US. How many other Burger Kings are there? How about other ones? I think your chances of getting a disgruntled worker like that are very slim.

I worked at a fast food place for a year. Similar things happened there. No oven cleaner, but spitting on food that was sent back plus those picky ass special orders got a lil something extra in them. :) Some people sent back burgers that weren't fresh enough and crap, so we got a fresh pattie and dropped it on the floor then grilled it up. :)

I can't say i'm proud of it, but when your 16, working in a 90+ degree kitchen sweating your balls off for minimum wage, you don't really give a fu(k if you get fired or not. :)

Order it like it is on the menu, and don't send it back! (teenager's don't give a fu(k if it's not right)
