Hey....

I was sitting here and running SETITeam and I screwed up...but now I notice that we've dropped somebody...with several WU's too..🙁

Could someone run the SETITeam (that's been keeping track) and let me know who's gone...and maybe why!...

Thanks 🙂

Also #35 is gone with no WU's

Hey Bigfoot....come back! 🙁

We need you!........

We'll keep the door open for you! 🙂

Thanks Wiz.....🙂

Ohhhhhh Biggggfoooottt...... BiggggggFooottttt

Come back Bigfoot, we miss you already...

Oh, and I'll make sure to turn the porch light on so you can find your way home. 🙂

Please both of you come back!
I fear that with all the push going on in the race that perhaps I missed a question or something that they may have asked!

I will make a extra effort to NOT let that happen

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong... but aren't all the "#" members temporary... THey seem to disappear when someone chooses a name.

Domination, I probably have the best handle on this. If you look at our TeAm Roster as kept by Seti@Home: Team AnandTech SETI you will find many members with "blank" spaces for their SETI NAME.

The reports I create and that other members see when they run their own personal versions of SetiTEAM is where the (#x) is created. When SetiTEAM finds two or more members with the same name it assigns them a # starting with #1 for the member with the most WUs and so on down the line. All of these members with "blank" SETI NAMES are recognized by SetiTEAM as having the same name and so numbers them accordingly.

When one of the "old" members with the BLANK SETI NAME corrects the problem by placing a check mark underneath their SETI NAME in the USERS ACCOUNT AREA of Seti AT Home or when they change their minds and decide to "publish" their SETI NAME, then there is one less BLANK and so SetiTEAM renames all of the BLANK NAMES that were ranked below that member. Since there is now one member less with a BLANK NAME it appears that the highest numbered #x member has GONE.

I'd explain further but I'm about to host a big Mardi Gras Party at my home and my wife is giving me the "evil eye". I'll check back in a few hours and see if there is any further explanation needed. 😉

Thanks for the explanation Smokeball... and have fun at the party... Is it Mardi Gras already... seem a bit early 🙂

Ack, I was hoping to find that BigFoot had rejoined. 🙁

He has quit before and rejoined again. Let's hope he does return.

There are organizational parties for Mardi Gras that go on year round. This was such a party. 😉

ehum, guess who recruited a bunch of revelers. 😀

WTG Smokeball 😀

Hmm maybe I could go to New Orleans and recruit at Mardi Gras there....yeah...thats what I would be doing.....recruiting 😉
