I have never tried any of the hard drugs. I have smoked weed but we all know that its not really addictive. While I say most things are fine in moderation..I dont know..coke seems pretty bad and I would never try. Honestly I dont see why anyone tries it in the first place now adays. Ok...maybe people tried it back in the 60's cause no one understood it as well as today..but how do they do it now? You know you can get addticted hard core..you know it can ruin your life..you know that its going to ****** with your head and body...then why?

Lol. I realise that spelling means something else, there's this thing called irony to add humor to the spoken language. You may have heard of this, it a term made popular by the Alanis Morsette song of the same name, where the contents of the song are not ironic, which is actually really ironic. Well played you crazy hoiser.
It's a widely misused term and it's possible that my intentional misspelling was not actually ironic. I make no promises.

But more to the point, why do you come at me with this idiot and moron stuff? You have done little else beside insult me kinda making you look like the ass.

BTW, I strongly believe that anyone who uses "pwn" or it's variations is in a very real sense doing the aforementioned to themselves.

Mr. tweakmm, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

oh and btw I am an Asshole I dont just play one on the net..

EDIT:
A very close friend of mine, a girl about 25 years old, just told me she has been using coke for the past month and a half or so, to help her lose weight (she is BEAUTIFUL, but has self-esteem and image issues) She used a variety of drugs recreationally, from weed to coke / acid / ect. up untill about 2 years ago, then had a reason to stop. She says she is not addicted, but has been using it a few times a day in small amount almost everyday for the last 6 weeks. She says she is stopping. She does realize she needs help, but does not realizre the extent of help she really needs I think.

I dont know much about it, so I dont know if I person can use it that but much not be physically addicted. I think the problem is almost entirely psycological in her case, but on a number of levels, which will make getting her help difficult.

My life was flipped upside down this morning when she told me. It is the least important thing in this situation, but I feel so sad and betrayed.....

..I have 2 family members that got notted up in the "recreational" blind side of drug use and in my opinion they were never the same after cocaine. Something happens..the brain gets rewired and for ever more they were chasing the bag. Even when they got off coke one of them took a dive into crack and suffered numerous problems. The other died last year of chronic alcoholism (mid 40's) and the other will prob.end up the same way. Anybody that feels they need to "recreate" with intoxication..what ever the substance is..legal or otherwise..has a mind set problem that needs to be delt with.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I have little sympathy for drug addicts save for children born to addict mothers and people who acquire a dope habit from pain killers post surgery.

Only a moron puts something in their body without knowing about it, especially something as potentially harmful as cocaine.
When you play with fire you have to realise that getting burned is a real posibility.

As to your continued inability to understand english, I can offer no help.
About the comment that I said what I said to be cool, let me assure you that I could not care less what anybody on an anonymous internet message board thinks about me.

I have a bit of experience with coke and I can tell you its not a good thing. Drugs like Marijuana arent even in the same league.

If you are taking coke everyday especially for longer then a week I would say you have an addiction.

Coke is a horrible drug it is hard on the body and the mind. For the UP you get you get a DOWN that is equal if not more powerful.

Your friend needs to stop believing that Coke has any benefits. Coke has ruined many lifes.

I read about a experiment they did on mice comparing the effects of Heroin vs Cocaine:

The Mice were in a controlled enviroment where the mice were in control of the release of the drug through a feeder. The Mice who were given Heroine were able to operate on a lifestyle where they slept and ate. The Mice on Cocaine however would continue to take the drug and deprice themselfes of sleep and food.

it is bad news.... i was lucky...i know one thing..

if you love the person that is hooked, and you do not have insurance...lock and chain them in a basement for several months until it can work its way out a bit...heavy therapy..extremely intense exercise and a log book of it all...

I wish you luck on this....you are going to need it.

JC
..that's what it takes. a complete realization and a change in outlook and attitude. they have to stop chasing the bag.

I used to casually "party" and I never got hooked. Both coke and heroin. Personally, I didn't find it addicting at all. Your mileage may vary.

PS- I tend to have low motivation and I don't get hooked on anything. In fact, it's tough for me to keep my interest in things.

The famous mice study lol.

Look, physically speaking for most people who use it in moderate doses at moderate intervals cocaine's effects are relatively harmless. It's a STRONG STIMULANT, and should be treated as such. If you've got heart problems, should u be taking it? Of course not. If you've got hypertension should u be taking it? Of course not. If you've got other diagnosed cardiovascular conditions should u be taking it? Probably not. Now on the other hand if you're a relatively healthy person who knows the possible side effects that strong stimulants can have and are willing to be responsible with it, should u take it? Well it's up to you, you'll probably be ok if u do. So in general just like any other drug it's only when abused or taken irresponsibly does it pose a more significant threat to the body, but it should be noted that it's not a narcotic (medically speaking), it doesn't typically result in physical addiction, and it doesn't "destroy" the body as some people would have u think it does.

Now the problem that most drug-informed people should be more concerned about is cocaine's psychological effects, as it's here where a lot of the controversy stems -- and rightfully so. Psychologically speaking, this drug has both positive and negative benefits the significane of which depend on a myriad of environmental (and hereditary) factors. Yes it's a stimulating euphoric, yes it can make u feel high and confident, yes it can produce other beneficial psychological effects, but then yes too it's potentially very psychologically addictive (although typically not seen as being as addictive as other illegal drugs like meth, crack or heroine).

As with many of the so-called hard drugs, it's the latter of these effects, the addiction potential, that when associated with individual and social problems like monetary cost, crime and moral decay is what does most to hinder cocaine's mainstream acceptance into society. Having been heavily propagandized since the early 20th century as being responsible for wreaking all kinds of psycho-social havoc particularly in the poor lower class segments of society, the drug continues to be heavily stigmatized to this day. But for many responsible recreational users, none of that matters, it's simply a psychological stimulant, a nice party drug (often described as the caviar of drugs), a nice pick-me-up, and for them that's where it stays, that's where it ends. Unfortunately, for some it goes further, just like with booze, tobacco and prescription meds.
