Everyone in the show- from the zombies, to every random no namer in the towns, to that pig they had in the prison were 10/10s compared to the idiot that was Andrea. I almost stopped watching the show because of how much I couldn't stand her.

Beyond that, I'm a big Carol/Daryl fan.

dont have one and i been watching the show since day 1.

Bingo.

They ALL suck. There's NO emotional attachment to any of them -- alive or dead. And quite honestly, the only one that has any acting ability is Andrew Lincoln (Rick) and even that is borderline.

Nobody has any sort of good story, or any reason why you would want to root for them. Every week, I continue to question my sanity for watching this show.

Carol, understood what was needed to protect the family. Regardless of any "morality" issues. Shane was sort of like that, but had problems with vendettas, same with the Governor. Rick is finally coming to the point of understanding... it is family > all else in this world. And the family is of course, the all encompassing group.

shane was a segeant that thought he was general.

If he would have had an ounce of humility he wouldnt have gone nuts.

I'm not sure if his unique skillset would be helpful during a Zombie invasion.

No real Laws = No need for an evil lawyer.

He is an excellent negotiator under pressure who has talked people out of murdering him and others on multiple occasions. I think it would be an awesome crossover if he showed up having been a Cinnabon manager from Nebraska when the outbreak happened even though there's suddenly no reason to maintain his new identity. He is in the AMC family! 😉

Oh, and I would say Morgan, but he only shows up sporadically, so I can't really name him as my favorite. I think he's building up to do some awesome stuff in the future though!

I'd go with Morgan as well since he's not in it enough to be ruined.

Michonne would be 2, but I'm not liking this turn her character is taking in the last handful of episodes.

And even though he didn't actually do much, Shumpert (aka bowman) was pretty cool.

Evil Shane gets honorable mention.

They should have a Its a Wonderful Life episode where Shane and Co end up in Woodbury, and he and the Gov duke it out.

Based on looks alone, I could stare at Lauren Cohan for the rest of my life.

Based on character/person,.. well, Merle Dixon!

Merle obviously had his flaws. But, considering what he was dealt in life, he wasn't an outright monster. Anyone else in his position would have gone full lunatic,.. like the governor. Merle lacks the ability to lead to get to the level that the governor got to. And, more importantly, Merle is not an evil person like the governor.

Merle was certainly bad. But, not evil. And him being bad went (mostly) away in Season 3 - which was HUGE, considering what he went through pre and post zombie breakout.

He had some sense of loyalty as well, like to his brother, to the governor and even honored truces where necessary. But, that loyalty was to a fault - following the governor being the prime example.

Furthermore, he was a true survivor. You frankly need someone like Merle in a post apocalyptic world. And, it would be best to sooth him than to have to fight him. Especially since he isn't rotten to the core. Whatever rot was there, could be cleared and cleaned via redemption (saving people, rebuilding society) - which again, we started seeing in Season 3.

Tyrese was my favorite. When he lost his shit he went the hell off on a pack of walkers with a hammer. He took care of Judith all that time too. When he died I was pissed off

However, he turned into quite a useless bitch towards the bitter end.

Michonne is one of the coolest characters in any show/movie ever. It's too bad we don't get more of her back story. If I recall correctly (and it's very possible I'm not) we know that her husband and brother(?) turned and killed her kid, so she turned them into her zombie slaves. Seeing more of her situation as things grew worse for her, and finally her setting out on her own would be an awesome.

She's the kind of hardassed person I'd expect to survive in the zombie apocalypse, not a bunch of these people and their touchy-feely BS. Sorry, but in that world if there's a baby I'm going to toss it to the zombies to slow them down. She's softened up a little bit, but she's still awesome.

kind of starting to appreciate carol lately.

Carol is the best!

"Oh, they took me in as the den mother. Do you have a Junior League, maybe I could help with that. Blah blah blah..."

I absolutely love her game in Alexandria.
