Who is your favorite NFL coach?

Active and all time?

Active is for sure Jim Harbaugh.

All Time is a toss up for me between Madden and Cowher but I'm leading towards Cowher.

Related: can anyone find the video of Cowher getting knocked down on the sideline?

Lombardi and Chuck Noll

Current...I can't stand either of the Harbaugh brothers. They're both a couple of whining, sniveling bitches.

Pete Carroll might be my current favorite coach. He's doing great things with the Seahawks.

Jim Schwartz.. the guy is just a genuine dick. I can't wait until he gets fired. I'm sure he'll have an epic rant on camera.

Jim "crybaby" Harbaugh is the least likeable coach in the entire NFL. It's hilariously satisfying watching the 49ers fall on their face this year.

I think Belichick was my favorite outside of this year's boneheaded moves with his receivers (letting Welker walk so he could pay Danny On-The-Mend-ola to injure himself immediately). He seems to have a better grasp of the game than most coaches and doesn't go into this sort of hyper-conservative shell. Marc Trestman is another one I like.

Tony Dungy is a classy guy best all time
very close second is Cowher

Current is none but Rex Ryan is a funny because he likes Feet 😛

Bill Belichek is probably not just the best current coach but arguably the best of all time.
The accomplishment of winning year after year in the post 2000 NFL is probably the hardest thing for a coach to do, ever.

Lombardi was a great coach. But he had the same players year after year. Belichek and current NFL coaches have to pretty much remake their team every 2-4 years.

Belichek was responsible for much that you see other coaches doing. I couldn't help but notice how many teams have deferred the opening kickoff this year. Belichek made the slot receiver position what is today. Many teams have gone to the two tight end set which he popularized.

Perhaps the greatest achievement was when his Hall of Fame QB went down in the first quarter of the first game, he got eleven wins with a backup QB.

The coach I hate the most is Coughlin. He just strikes me as a grouchy old man who likes to make rules for no reason.

He's so insistent on benching Wilson that they're losing games. He's losing control of his team.

The only thing is that means he'll be on the hot seat again this year, which means... Super Bowl win.

Uh...wut?

Techs' football IQ is about the same as my schnauzer's football IQ.

As for my favorites:

Dungy, Ditka, Walsh, Landry. I like Parcells too but his team flopping cost him some points in the ICF coaching index.

Ones I absolutely hated:

Glanville, Buddy Ryan

Yea, and the worst part of it he's a "bandwagon" Pat's fan, anyway I'd say Ditka was/is overrated he should have won more than one SB with that Bears team in the '80's. Walsh however was a good one.
