Hmmm... I really like Bach, Handel, Haydn and Vivaldi. I know Bach the best though so I'll pick him.

Bach is easily my favorite composer of all time. Plus, he's composed more pieces than any other person on that list. Not that it really matters, I just thought I'd throw it out there.

Rossini. I always thought if ever there was someone who would go to a Meatloaf concert and nod his head and tap his toes and think that the legacy has passed on to another generation it would be Rossini.

Mussorgsky is incredible. His "Pictures of an Exhibition" is amazing. He composed "Night on Bald Mountain" for those of you who didn't know.

Rachmaninoff ties with Mussorgsky. Rachmaninoff's piano concertos are overwhelming.

Rimsky-Korsakov is amazing also.

I'm curious, to people who picked Pachelbel... has anyone here heard any of Pachelbel's music besides the Canon? I mean, he has some great stuff (I really like the Magnificat fugues), but to name him my favorite composer...
