Frank would have been more appropriate on the mural, IMO.
I don't think so--Lindburgh was one of the seminal cultural icons of American exceptionalism of the 20th century. The dude was lauded until his death as one of the great humans of the world.
Lincoln is the great American Leader.
Monroe the cultural icon that essentially created celebrity--but unlike any of her piers today, she crossed boundaries into all aspects of American elite: literature (Miller), sport (DiMagio), politics (Kennedy), etc.
Lindburgh was an icon of achievement, the American spirit of "Fuck al you; imma do it anyway!" Also: giant brass balls. He had them.
Frank was just a great singer, not exactly the culture titans that the others became.
