I can't really say I'm proud to be white as I haven't contributed anything that led to my being white. I was born white completely out of my control. Not proud and definitely not ashamed either. It is what it is.

Among humans, race has no taxonomic significance; all people belong to the same hominid subspecies, Homo sapiens sapiens.[7][8] Regardless of the extent to which race exists, the word "race" is problematic and may carry negative connotations.[9] Social conceptions and groupings of races vary over time, involving folk taxonomies [10] that define essential types of individuals based on perceived sets of traits. Scientists consider biological essentialism obsolete,[11] and generally discourage racial explanations for collective differentiation in both physical and behavioral traits.[6][12]

I don't think you understand what prejudice means.
Prejudice - to make a value assesment good or bad about another based on superficial factors such as race, color, ethnic origin, or gender. (or color of their nose, considering the holiday)

As for Prejudice as a social concept, you may mean failure to hold a group of individuals to equal liberties based on an internal value statement in the mind of the beholder.

Is there some other definition you prefer?

Prejudice can be positive as well. If you assume that someone like you cannot be malevolent, then there will certainly be times you are wrong. this is the same concept in reverse. You are assigning a value judgement without evidence. The nature of devaluing others is dependent on overvaluing yourself and others similar.
