It's a dead heat between Audrey Hepburn and Sophia Loren. I'm kinda leaning towards Audrey Hepburn. 17. I'm 17 and I think these women were the most beautiful actresses, with Sophia Loren still looking damn good.

As for the actress I have a huge thing for...Drew Barrymore. I like cuties for some reason.

Dead-lock between Eliza Dushku and Charisma Carpenter.
Probably Eliza Dushku since she's closest to my age.

supergroove, stop trying to be mature with those selections...I know someone just like you who tries to find an "authentic" favorite actress and I think it's really pathetic...you try to feign some kind of originality by longing for the better days...grow up and enjoy your youth as well as popular culture!
since you're a complete newbie posing as a connesieur, go pick up maxim's picture book and get acquainted what the world of today has to offer

and being in love with someone as old as sophia loren really scares me...you're like that guy that did it with stifler's mom

In addition to the ones listed, I find Monica Potter to be very pretty. Drew Barrymore should be taken off the list. I don't know how anyone finds her remotely attractive. She ain't even decent...

Anyone here every heard of Jaymee Ong? She's half Australian, half Chinese... studied in England. Go to Jaymee Ong.net for photos. She's in Rave Fever and GenX Cops.

Go stroke yourself elsewhere.

Many of the actresses of the past are far more attractive than the sluts that parade around on screen now, barely dressed and only saying a few words to distinguish themselves from runway models.

<< grow up and enjoy your youth as well as popular culture! >>

So to be grown up you have to adore pop culture? Pop culture is fleeting and vain, and rarely lasts. What's hot today will be old tomorrow. Give me stuff that lasts.

<< what the world of today has to offer >>

You mean skanky ho's?

pamchenko,

Did I imply that my opinion was above all else? No...I thought people were going to look at me funny for finding actress' of yore, attractive. Oh no...that makes me a poseur connoisseur! Eep...burn me at the stakes! Dear God...I find today's actress' attractive as well. I love Nicole Kidman, Helen Hunt, Isabella Rosellini, etc. etc. It's not like I'm ignorant to today's women....

Paul

P.S.- Thandie Newton is SUPER HOT! Funny, my user rating has dipped way belot the 10.00 it once was. Must've offended some people in this thread, *cough cough*.

Another vote for Audrey Hepburn. And one for Lauren Bacall. Man, in their day they were smoking. Sofia Loren, though, should have stayed away from all that plastic surgery.

As far as today's hot young stars go, you can pretty much take your pick from a lineup of the WB's Bosom Bonanza. I'd have to say Charisma Carpenter (especially with long hair) is vastly underrated, and that Elisa Dushku looked incredible in her "prison cameo."

Veronica Lake, Kathleen Turner, Elizabeth Taylor when she was very young, and Halle Berry who is just stunning as Dorothy Dandridge.
