Tiki Barber, read one of his articles you'd think he's a professional writer. Also he knows what to say and is always humble, something that's so rare with today's players.

Both NY backs, Tiki and CMart. Emmitt definitely gets a vote as well. Wayne Chrebet comes to mind, although he's not necessarily a big name. I remember him saying very little when Keyshawn was doing his whole "I'm a superstar, Chrebet's a flashlight" thing. Keyshawn forever got put in my book as a punk from that day forward. He, and his cousin Chad, who draws unflattering comparisons to TO. One of the great moments in my book was when TO did his whole thing on the Cowboys star, and when he tried to do it again, George Teague (??) almost took his head off. And I am far from a Cowboys fan.

Agree on McNabb, even though I hate the eagles. It seems the amount of class is inversely proportional to the amount of times they talk about you on sportscenter. Harrison is probably the best WR in the league, yet there are 2 dozen guys who get on sportscenter more often than him, led by TO.

There are many, though the NFL gets a bad rep. Best are (in no particular order):

Harrison
Holmes
T. Barber
Isaac Bruce (how did you people forget him?)
Warner (has quite a few NFL records already, but never talks trash about anyone - his wife on the other hand....)

It's not that I don't like Pennington or that I don't think he's a solid QB, but honestly, you have to play longer than him and play better than he has in order to really show how classy you are. If Sportscenter started calling him the next Marino or Elway, THEN you would see how classy he is or isn't.

I like Fred Smoots-- might be biased as a washington fan though.

Brett Favre has always struck me as a 'nice guy' too.

What's wrong with Eddie? He made an error in judgement by not accepting less for the Titans, but that's irrelevant to the question. There's no denying that he's a team leader and very involved in the community. He doesn't showboat, and he's not in any drug or legal problems (well, that I'm aware of, anyway). Pretty decent role model, if you ask me.

Fvck Favre. After his comments about how he was so cool to fool docs into thinking he was kicking his habit in rehab he's lost my respect. Some role model....

Didn't hear that. That does sorta change things, doesn't it?

Favre may be somewhat talented and rich...but he is a moron. Seriously...I have seen him at live interviews.
