I have some sort of stomach flu or something. I don't feel really good. My lower back aches like hell and I've slept almost all day. I leave for a cruise on Saturday and hope to be 100% by then; getting hammered tomorrow probably won't help. :(

<--- definite loser

my buddy is sick so i dunno if we are going out. I dont know anyone else in the dc area except my grandparents......

I'm not going out because it is the A-1 stupidest night ever to leave the safety of your home....so I am going to my lake house in the early afternoon instead where one can shoot fireworks over the lake and do whatever one chooses without having to worry about much of anything except having a good time. BTW, I am taking people with me to share the good time, kind of like a mini-party.

I'm headed home the minute the ball drops since I gotta go to work the day after. But I don't really care, I was never too excited about new years anyways.

Man, I'm making dinner. Lobster tails, some nice wine that I'll pick up tomorrow, a movie or two. Just me and my wife staying home. And sleeping in on New Year's Day.

I've been to some of the "coolest" parties in NYC both in general and for New Year's Eve. But you know what? They are inevitably BORING. I'd rather spend the time with my family as I will be doing this year - my mother is very ill, and my extended family is at our house. Even though we are probably not even going to watch the ball drop, I will have such a warm time knowing that everyone that really matters to me, is right by my side. I can find a girl to fvck any weekend of the year - and have. Why waste this one trying to search for that...

P.S. not everyone at ATOT is a computer loser/geek. Some of us enjoy procrastination!

Dude, you are such a loser :p

Actually I kind of admire people who don't get their panties in a bunch worrying about going out and partying on certain days that, for the most part, don't have any real significance, party-wise.

Of course it's pretty much the same basic human behavior that motivates high school girls to have an absolute cow if they don't get invited to the prom, not saying they are wrong, it's just kind of funny to watch.

And yes, I'm probably not going out either. First of all, I'm visiting my parents and I know pretty much no one around here. Second, I'm 20, so bar-hopping is kind of out as well. And third, I'm always up for a party, when it's with a fun group of people I know. Partying with random strangers just for the sake of partying because I'm supposed to seems like to height of being a tool to me...but that might just be me, you crazy kids have fun out there ;)

I'm not.

Why would I want to be around a bunch of drunk teenagers and 50 year old guys?

Besides, I'm working a lot of hours lately. No time.
