I just want to get an idea of how many people are having problems with their ati products.
So if you can please just post a simple yes or no and what product it is and what motherboard chipset (not the motherboard model) you are using.

I'll start;

YES

ati tv wonder pci

intel 845PE

ATi Radeon 9700 Pro on an Intel i845G. Some driver glitches but nothing serious.

Nope no flame war intended. I just want to see if there are indeed some issues with ati products in general. All companies have issues sometimes, even nvidia but I just want to know if it's more so with ati. And I'm looking for both positive and negative responses so if you have an ati product please respond. I also stated what info I wanted so that there wouldn't be any need for extra comments;)

There drivers are in a different league now than they used to be. All the major problems have been hammered out of the current cards. Although, I don't k now how the 9800, 9600, and the 9200, will do but they are pretty much the same as their predessecors so there probably won't be major problems.

yes and yes, but Im still more than happy

Epox 8rda+
Ati TVwonderVE pci card - this is a peice of shite, but at £15 (english) (approx $25)i don't care and don't expect any more. Only used for

Connect3D Radeon 9500 (softmodded to 9800 pixel shaders, and oc'd to 9700 pro speeds :-D)

I have some problems with the Radeon *without the hacked drivers* where it flickers a lot when i boot into windows or when i change any graphics settings. Other than this how can i complain about a card that cost me £100 (aprox $160) and outperforms most 9700 pro cards. Also ATI do seem to be sorting out their drivers. They aren't perfect but they are also not bad enough to warrant not buying the products.

*yes i did read the only post simple yes or no, but i felt like voicing my opinion anyway :p*

much thanks to ATI for a damn cool graphics card :-D still love my Geforce2 MX though, Im happy to see Nvidia & ATI do well, i really like both company's. Nvidia have driven the games market forward and continues to support the low end user in my opinon, glad to see them drop that horrible Geforce4MX scam, they lost my respect far more for that than they have with the FX. And ATI for making sure Nvidia always have to keep on their toes, and can't get away with crap like the Geforce4 MX :-D

Yes

nForce2

All the problems I'm having I have seen multiple other people with that have different mobos(between Rage and B3D). I think it's around ten games that I have now that have issues ranging from seriously annoying to hard locking my PC.

PowerColor Radeon 9100

Epox 8RDA+ (NForce2)

I did have problems with it at first, but that was on an old Win98 system. Built a brand new rig with Win2K and it's flawless.

nothing really worth noting. Ati has pretty decent drivers now. The big problems are a thing of the past

Yes

7200 le

Asus A7V133

I've tried it in every software environment possible, including combinations that have worked for nearly a year, and also with every new and old driver for card and mobo, etc. I actually believe that the card is dying, I'll know for sure when my new GF comes in the mail Monday :)

Yes - 9700 Pro, with many problems and no tech support from ATI. Nearly sent the card back to buy a Geforce 4600...

yes - sapphire radeon 9700 Pro
yes - connect3d radeon 9000

None of the problems are hardware related, all driver related problems. The stupid thing is I can fix each problem using a different driver version but that brings other problems.
