who is going to E3??

Well folks, this week is the week! E3 starts this Wednesday, and I am going to be there for all three days, and hopefully for that party Friday night in the old "promised lot".

Doom 3 is going to be my first stop, and probably a frequent stop each of the three days...all kinds of other good stuff will be there as well, but I won't get into that here...

Who else is going?
 
I believe you have to be in the gaming industry (developer, journalist, etc.). Apparently other people can go if they purchase a ticket, but last I heard they were very expensive (a couple of hundred dollars). E3 used to be open to the public for either free or very cheap, but that was at least 5 or 6 years ago.
 
I can't wait to sort through all the freebies they hand out. I'm just now getting ready to take my dearest to the airport to do the collecting. Got to go get ready.
 
I'm hopefully going. Still haven't heard back from the gamedev that is letting me tag along. Apparently they're cracking down on security more this year so changing names is harder. :|
 
Yeah, their security IS tighter this year...:| I could've gone last year but didn't, and this year I regret not going so much, but CAN'T. I had hoped that a dev group on campus would have an extra ticket, but they didn't.

Damn you all. Next year...........next year.............
