I think this race will be remembered as one of the most controversial yet influential elections ever to take place. I did want Bush to win however i must applaud Kerry for his speech at the end. I admire how both candidates worked out their indifferences, and both came forward and praised the other.

Most of all im glad it is all over, our nation was completely divided.

Definitely a no. As long as there are people willing to spend their free time pulling half assed Bush spew from other sites or coming up with their own unoriginal comments we'll be talking about people. Lord knows there are plenty of those morons around here...

I just hope we can put all this hate behind us. If P&N represented the US in the past few weeks, crime would have gone up 5000%. There was so much hate and hating and just plain negativity. I just hope people settle down.

I do think that Bush really got the worst of everything. There were not NEARLY as many threads or comments in the world making fun of Kerry as there were Bush.

Also on the news everything always seemed to be in favor of Kerry. Then when Bush won by a lot, it just goes to show how biased media can be.

Like i said in the OP this election was one of if not the fairest, yet most controversial elections to take place.

It was over before it even began, I knew 99.999999999999999999999999999999999 percent that bush is going to be re-elected and even if kerry wins by some miracle;don't think anything is going to change much either way. We're hopeless, oh well. Life sucks. 🙁

So on top of everything else, some ass just smashed my face with a brick


Yep. Just got back from the Kerry rally in Copley. Spent nearly eight hours standing in the cold rain and waind waiting for the word...and then the word came, and didn't come, and is hovering like doom...

So I am walking in the back door of my apartment building, and I hear someone behind me. I turn, and this douchebag threw a brick at my head. It mostly hit my shoulder, but bashed into my jaw. Pretty clearly a mugging attempt; the person who did it was young. Nothing is broken, I don't think. I can still work my jaw, and my shoulder is moving OK, and no teeth are loose. I have a big scratch on my face, and everything hurts like hell.

So, the moral of the story: No matter how bad you feel, no matter how crappy was your night, nobody threw a brick at your head.

Think I'm gonna call the cops.

I was so tired of the lies and slander and bashing on both sides. Both sides blamed the other for every thing, even if they were not at all responsible or could do nothing about it.
