Who is excited for Christmas?

I have cancer yeah, money? Not enough but my three foot fiber optic tree is up, I have a new rescue cat & the best family in the world. Lying here in my Xmas PJ's, grateful I had chemo today, grateful my aches & pains are being addressed.

Just glad to have one more holiday season with my family!

So are you excited for Christmas?

I'm not as excited as you but just happy to spend time with family today & again on Sunday.

Beat wishes to you Geekbabe & Merry Christmas!

This is probably the least Christmasy Christmas ever. I no longer have any roommates and I don't waste money on decorations so it just feels like any other day of the year. And of course I'm now at the age that Christmas is a net drop in wealth for me so it doesn't even have that going for it now.

I'm excited, but I still get "Santa" gifts so I've got a lot going for me. 😉 We aren't staying with extended family for Christmas this year, but we'll visit them before the Christmas break is over. It is going to be 70f on Christmas Day though so that feels a little not-christmas-y

Overall it's still festive though! A happy holiday season to all you weird forum-goers. 🙂

OP, long time no see. Wishing you the best on your battle with cancer. Are you still doing the online research/answering for cash/prizes?

I am grateful that I am healthy and my family members are doing decently. Will fight the crowd tomorrow to buy stuffs on sale on the day before the big day.

Sorry to hear about the cancer, that is not something I would wish on anyone. not something fun to go through. It's great that medical technology has come a long way though.

I'm working Christmas, but will probably have time to go to the family dinner at least, so kind of looking forward to that, and giving out my gifts.

One good thing of working Christmas is it is a pretty good pay cheque. Think it's double time and a half or something like that. Christmas and Boxing Day.

I just hope we don't get a winter storm, there is a warning of one coming. Winter storms mean it's super busy at work.

Going to spend Christmas Eve with my wife's Dad tomorrow. Christmas Day will be at home with my family and we have friends coming over for dinner.

Yes, I am looking forward to it.

Merry Christmas Geekbabe!

I am rich in friends, my online blogging family made sure I had the supplies and cash to vet & neuter the rescue cat ( his name is Grayson) he is 16 pounds & sleeping off a catnip high right now. Santa will also be visiting me!

I had treatment yesterday and so far I am a bit tired but no joint aches so hopefully the Opdivo gods will let me enjoy the season too.

Ahh cripes. I didn't know you had cancer, Geekbabe.

Good luck with the chemo, and a Merry Christmas to you too.🙂

Basically 2 yrs since DX of lung cancer. When you see those Opdivo ads on tv, think of me. I was pretty sick at first but now still work & have about 75% of my old life back.

I didn't give a lot of gifts this year because I can't afford to but each gift was carefully chosen & given with a glad heart.

I wish you the gift of a glad heart, it is priceless
