I love Iron Chef.

As for Emeril. He's okay IMO, but not great at all. Maybe because he grew up near me (like 20 miles from my house). It bothers me some when he uses phrases that I hear, and are annoyed by. Plus his accent is "off" IMO. People from Fall River have a strong SE New England accent, and his isn't.

As for him being on Iron Chef. I'd love to see Morimoto spank him up and down Kitchen Stadium. He'd lose BADLY IMO.

When we moved, we didn't get the food network anymore, so I couldn't watch it. I watched that religiously when Vi_edit had to work midnights on the weekend. I loved that guy that ran around interviewing the chefs.
