I use a marble trackball at home.

now if there was only a way to get a scroll wheel in a comfortable spot on the thing...

I started using a trackball about 10 years ago--I love the fact that they are stationary (you don't need a mousepad and you don't have to worry about getting off the pad), and you have better control. My preferred device for almost 2 years now is a Kensington Turboball--best one I've used so far.

Cordless Trackman Wheel

had it for bout a years and a half...its the prefect size for my hand, occasionally have some build up from oil on my thumb but a little rattle of the thing and the bits of stuff come out and its just fine again

i lvoe it compared to a regular mouse becuase i dont have to move my whole arm...i just rest my wrist on the mousepad in the most comforatble position and i'm set

I've been using a trackball almost two years now, I prefer it to a mouse.
I rarely play games, and that's why I bought the joystick.

How in the world do you play a FPS with a normal mouse? I tried it once and couldn't do it...I've been using Logitech trackballs since my days of playing original Quake :)

I use a Logitech Cordless Trackman + mouse and love it. I dropped it a few times, and it still works. I will prolly not use anything else.

I used a trackball once and totally hated it. Guess I should have given it a little more time. :p
