Hands up. Paxil 80mg a day. It helps noticeably but I still have issues with depression and anxiety 🙁

I was on the same dose of Paxil, but the depression and anxiety continued after my body was accustomed to the Paxil. I recently switched to Effexor. It works very well for me.

Coming off of the Paxil, however, was a four week process. It wasn't fun.

This echoes my stance exactly.

I have a trusted friend telling me that some meds would help my anxiety/depression, but I have a major problem with introducing drugs to a system(the brain) that, at best, isn't well understood.
