SD is only crappy on an HDTV. It isn't that horrid on an older tv. I watch on my HDTV though of course 🙂

Why would u watch on SD though? Its on CBS, NBC, fox OTA if u don't get cable.

I don't have an HD TV. Know people who do but not going to someone else's house just to watch a regular season football game.

SD looks just fine on a TV made for it.

i do not have HD TV, i have a JVC 32" SD TV that has plenty of life left in it. good enough image quality for my taste

I'm watching in no-def right now to protest the stupid blackout policy. Let force NY to watch the Jets/Rams game and deny them access to a number of more exciting games. Thats sure to increase viewership and improve the NFL brand.

If you had an older tv? Duh?

Still trying to convince your parents to buy a hdtv are you BlahBlahYouToo?

MOM, look at all these people, they all have hdtv why dont we?

Don't have an HDTV so we watch it in regular SD. Don't mind it really because I've never watched a HDTV consistently to get used to the better picture.

Same thing with DVD vs BluRay. If you've never seen BLuRay, then normal DVDs look fantastic. It's once you start watching them better that you realize what you're missing.

We have two 27" SD TVs that work great. Everything looks just fine to me and there's no reason to change just to get a better picture. End results is the same whether you can see each drop of sweat or not.

yeah, but don't you have to pay extra to get the HD versions of those chanels?

Living on the wonderfully fixed income standard to the graduate student lifestyle goes a long way to prohibiting such luxuries as HD televisions, non-microwavable food, and heating during the winter.

what? i'm confused now. I have cable, getting the HD versions of OTA channels (NBC, CBS, ABC, etc) doesn't cost any extra. Hell, if it did i'd just use my HD tuner and pull in the OTA channels... well... OTA 🙂 for free!
